Our Program
The Brooklyn Titans operate a competitive tackle football and cheerleading program serving youth between the ages of 5 and 15. We operate a highly disciplined program and expect players to demonstrate respect, hard work and good sportsmanship. The Titans do not have tryouts and all players who participate in practices and remain academically eligible are guaranteed playing time in all games. It is the responsibiity of the coaches to prepare each child to compete safely and competently on the field.

The Titans are a part of the Empire State Youth Football League (ESYFL) a city-wide league offering competitive football and cheerleading. ESYFL is the New York City afffiliate of American Youth Football (AYF), the largest youth football and cheer organization in the country. AYF provides opportunites for the Titans to participate in regional and national competitions.

O/L = Older Lighter. A child may be one year older than the other children in the division IF he/she is 20 pounds lighter than the maximum weight for that division.

The Titans were started in the Red Hook sectinon of Brooklyn and remained there for 8 years. However, for 2012 and beyond, the Titans are taking the program to historic Bedford Stuyvesant. The program (practices and some home games) willl be based at Boys and Girls high school located at 1700 Fulton Street. The field is easily accessible by mass transit: A & C trains or B25 Bus.
